Anyone who knows drag racing knows the reputation of the Fuel Altered as the Bad Boy of the 1320'.  In the late 50's and early 60's, in the face of an NHRA ban on fuel racing,  these AA/FA Machines stunned crowds around the country with outrageous starting line antics and 7 second multidirectional quarter-mile passes.  Today they are still held by many as the some of the most awesome machines ever to travel the quarter mile.
